Passport series models feature laminated tonewoods in back and on the sides, while the sound boards are made of solid wood. These guitars are made in Korea and assembled in Bend, Oregon by Breedleve craftsmen. This significantly cuts the costs, without compromising the tone too much. For their under-$1,000 class, these guitars offer magnificent quality. One of the models of this series is Passport Plus D/CMe, a non-cutaway dreadnought six-stringer. It`s body is made of laminated mahogany back and sides with a solid cedar sound board on top. Creme binding and single circle rosette around the sound hole decorate the top panel. There is no pickguard applied on this model`s top. C-shaped neck is equipped with a dovetail joint and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
