Breedlove`s brand new series, the Voice Series comes with completely new L.R. Baggs electronics system which incorporates both the revolutionary design of the microphone and a regular acoustic guitar pickup. The aim of the series is to reproduce the true and natural tone of the acoustic guitar through the amplification. This challenge proved to be big, but joined forces of Breedlove and L.R. Baggs craftsmen solved it with immense quality and precision. Thus far, Voice series is among the series of the most natural sounding acoustic-electric guitars. Microphone is used for a vast majority of the tonal range with pickup kicking in to tighten the low end. This series currently consists of six models and Voice Auditorium is the only one with Auditorium shape. It kicks off with an auditorium cutaway body made of solid walnut back and sides with a solid sitka spruce top. The top panel is bound in multiple layers of binding and finished in gloss. It features no pickguards for Breedlove opted with maximum tonal projection. The neck on this model is made of Honduran mahogany and it is bolted to the body. Neck joint is placed at the standard 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with 20 frets, custom 12th fret inlay and 1-3/4" bone string nut. Bridge is also made of ebony and it sports a Breedlove shape with white saddle. chrome plated Gotoh tuners and gloss finish wrap up the specs list. The MSRP for Voice Auditorium is set at $3,999.
