0003 is the flagship of the 000 series in the acoustic department of Collings Guitars catalog. It comes with a non-cutaway body, as all basic variants of Collings models do. Besides these basic specs, players may choose between numerous available alternatives for almost every feature and appointment. The body of this model is made of east Indian rosewood back and sides with sitka spruce top. The bridge on this model features a modern pyramid shape and it comes made of ebony. Ebony string pins and bone saddle are also installed upon the bridge. Mahogany neck is a standard Collings feature for acoustic guitars and it is attached to the body at the 12th fret. Ebony fingerboard sports 20 frets, no inlays and 1-13/16" bone nut. 25-1/2" scale and nickel-plated Waverly tuners wrap the specs.
