CD-60CE is an acoustic-electric variant of the series` opening model, the CD-60. It comes with a dreadnought-shaped body with single cutaway design. It`s back and side panels of the body are made of laminated mahogany and are covered with a spruce-made top. Black is the color chosen for CD-60CE and it is finished in gloss. Top panel also features black plastic pickguard and double circle rosette. In the bridge section, Fender installs a belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. It features a compensated saddle. Electronics on CD-60CE are made up of Fishman Presys pickup system with active on-board preamp. Neck is made of nato wood and it features a set-in joint. It is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
