F-102 is a children`s guitar with folk-shaped body and completely acoustic construction. Since it`s made for kids, Flight chose non-expensive materials and a very basic set of features to incorporate on this model. Entire body is made of very thin alder laminates, with standard bracing pattern featured beneath the sound board. Instead of rosewood, Flight installs a painted maple bridge on the top. It has a plastic saddle, with strings running through the bridge. F-102 is available in fiery red color with yellow flames engulfing the body. This pretty attractive color scheme is finished in gloss. Neck is made of alder, which is a very rare and unusual feature. On it`s top, Flight installs a plywood fingerboard with 18 frets with dot markers.
