Westerly Collection is the more affordable of two major Guild acoustic ranges (the more expensive one`s named USA). Prices hover between $500 (Archbacks) and $1,500 (150). Dreadnought, jumbo, orchestra and concert models populate the collection`s roster, being offered with a multitude of tonewood, hardware, and electronics combinations.
Westerly D-140 is the basic dreadnought model of the Westerly 140 series. It offers non-cutaway body, glued-in neck (14th fret dovetail joint), standard 25-1/2" scale, Guild hardware, and Fishman electronics (in the D-140E variant). Natural and Antique Sunburst options make up the color palette. The main construction features include solid Indian rosewood back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany neck, and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Other notable features include a rosewood bridge, Guild tuners, and Fishman`s Sonitone/Sonicore electronics unit (in the D-140E variant).
