Westerly Collection Archbacks Acoustic Guitars by Guild
Westerly range is one of two main ranges of acoustic guitars made by Guild. It was named after the town of Westerly where Guild made acoustics since 1966. Four sub-series make up the Westerly range - Archbacks, 120, 140, and 150 (ordered from the most affordable to the most expensive).
Westerly D-240E comes in with a non-cutaway dreadnought body, standard 25-1/2" scale, Guild electronics, as well as Guild`s own hardware. Natural (w/matte finish, multi-layered binding) is the only available color option. Core construction features include mahogany back & sides, solid spruce sound board (two-piece construction, tortoise pickguard), mahogany neck (C profile), and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Other notable appointments include a fixed rosewood bridge, arched back, Guild`s own active piezo pickup, and Guild tuners.
