300 series is another one dedicated solely to the dreadnought shaped guitars made by Hohner. This series ranks well below the exclusive 500 and it represents an alternative for players who are looking for something more affordable than 500 models. HW300 is a fully acoustic answer to their prayers. It comes with a non-cutaway design and dovetail joint. Natural, Sunburst, Transparent Black, Transparent Blue and Transparent Wine Red are color options available for this model. A combination of satin and gloss finish is applied. Body of this model is made entirely of mahogany, which is by far the most popular wood for such constructions. Bridge is made of rosewood and the electronics department is non-existing. Neck is made of mahogany and it is equipped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
