AEF1812 is AEF series` only twelve-stringer and it comes with steel strings. It`s body features the AEF shape with single cutaway design, which are series` mandatory features. Back and side panels on this model are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. AEF1812 is available in only one color option, the black. It is finished in gloss and bound in white binding around the top. Vintage styled rosette decorates the sound hole. In the bridge section Ibanez installs a belly-shaped bridge which is made of rosewood. Electronics are made up of Ibanez under-saddle pickup and Ibanez SPT preamp. Neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a dovetail joint. Rosewood is the material of choice for the fingerboard.
