Artwood Vintage Thermo Aged series is made up of retro-styled acoustics and acoustic-electrics with torrefied (baked, thermo-aged) tops or entire bodies (depending on the tier). Usually, the tier 9 models only have aged tops, while the 10s have both fully solid and aged body panels. The new AVC9CE comes in with an amplified body, neck w/14th fret joint, 24.96" scale, classic X bracing, etc. The color palette is limited to Open Pore Natural (w/open pore finish, chrome hardware, tortoise binding). Main construction features include a single-cut grand concert body (mahogany back/sides/top, tortoise pickguard, dual circle rosette), a soft V-shaped mahogany neck, a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.77" nut, 34.96" scale), a fixed ovangkol bridge, combined Fishman/Ibanez electronics, and open-gear tuning machines.
