B200 is one of two currently active banjo models in Ibanez catalog, with the other one being B300 (beginner B50 is not in production anymore). It costs around $400 and represents one of the best options for players who want a cheap, reliable instrument. Fully acoustic construction, standard 26-3/8" scale and traditional styling are among B200`s highlights.
The body of this affordable five-stringer is made of mahogany resonator and basswood block rim. It also features a classic banjo bridge on top (mobile maple bridge with rosewood tip and anchored tailpiece). The neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. The fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood (22 banjo-sized frets, 1.18" wide string nut and custom vine inlay across the frets).
