RA200 is a budget-friendly resonator guitar made by Ibanez. It is a wooden resonator, just like its predecessor, the popular RA100. At the moment, Ibanez catalog does not feature metal-bodied resonators. some of the core features of this six-string blues box include 24.8" scale, chrome-plated resonator cone and a standard 19-fret fingerboard.
RA200 kicks off with a non-cutaway resonator body made of mahogany (back, sides, top) and a modern neck, also made of mahogany. The body is bound in ivory binding, as is the rosewood fingerboard set atop the gloss-finished neck. Ibanez does not offer electronics with this model. Spider bridge (located on the resonator cone) and six die-cast tuners complete the specs list. Retail price for RA200 is around $400.
