Aside from the standard acoustics range, Jay Turser`s catalog features the special Jay-J series. There are seven models in its current lineup, three JJ45 models (dreadnought-based), three JJ43 (folk-based), and one JJ Heart model (concert-based). Two of the dreadnoughts (JJ45 and JJ45F) are fully acoustic, while the JJ45FCET rocks onboard electronics. Main features include a single-cut dreadnought body (basswood back & sides, flame top, white binding, teardrop pickguard), under-saddle piezo pickup w/shoulder-mounted preamp (EQ + tuner), and stock hardware. JJ45FCET is offered in Black Sunburst, Blue Sunburst, Tobacco Sunburst, Cherry Sunburst, and Red Sunburst. All options feature gloss finish and chrome-plated hardware. Other notable features include a mahogany neck (14th fret dovetail joint), rosewood fingerboard (20 frets, dot inlays, white binding), rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
