Banjos Acoustic Guitars by Jay Turser
Recent years have seen a sharp rise in popularity of various hybrid instruments, with the mixture of guitar and ukulele being the most prominent. "Silent" guitars and double-basses have also gained many fans around the globe, as have guitars with onboard tone processing units (Gibson`s Firebird X and Ibanez RG Khaoss come to mind). Jay Turser`s attempt at mixing banjo and ukulele is named banjolele (JTUKBN-60 is its official name) and it belongs to the Bluegrass range. It is among the best-selling Bluegrass models. JTUKBN-60 is a four-stringer with a ukulele-sized body (mahogany resonator, 12-bracket rim, Remo head) and scale. Natural (gloss finish, chrome hardware) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a mahogany neck, 18-fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood capped maple bridge, and die-cast tuners.
