Flora Orchid is a brand new model, scheduled to be premiered at the NAMM along with the rest of Luna`s novelties for 2017. Following the series` tradition, this flat-top steel-stringer is named after a flower - the orchidea. Orchid rocks glossy white paintjob, with orchid inlay adjacent to the sound hole, purple-colored logo on the headstock and chrome hardware.
Flora Orchid comes in with a single-cut folk body, made of maple back & sides and spruce soundboard. The neck is made of mahogany (14th fret dovetail joint, standard Luna headstock) and is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (Moon Phase inlays)
Other important features include a fixed acoustic bridge (of undisclosed material, presumably rosewood), Luna`s own SL3 preamp with on-board tuner system and die-cast tuners.
