Oracle`s grand concert section has received four new models for this year and Tattoo is one of them. Luna Guitars unveiled these models, along with other novelties, at NAMM Show 2012 in Anaheim, Ca. Oracle is the series designated by Luna Guitars to the production of technically advanced and aesthetically themed guitars with elaborate ornamentation. Tattoo is coming as a grand concert cutaway guitar with a body made of mahogany back and sides with solid cedar top. Tattoo is inspired by Polynesian tribal tattoo designs and features a series of motifs connected into a single, ornate, laser-etched inlay which stretches from around the sound hole and all the way to the bottom. Natural color with matte finish is the only color option for this model. The bridge is equipped with a common shape for Oracle models and a set of black string pins with a black saddle. The electronics are made up of B-band pickup and preamp with side-mounted control panel. The panel contains three-band equalizer, volume knob, phase button switch and a tuner. The neck is made of mahogany and connected to the body at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard boasts 20 frets, moon phase inlays and 1-11/16" string nut. Chrome hardware and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs for Oracle Tattoo.
