Luna`s Safari line is oriented towards mobility and light weight. Thus the scaled down sizes and short scales. These models are primarily intended for people on the move who want to play their guitar while on the road, or besides the camp fire. Safari line is updated with one model for this year, a Safari Tattoo, which was exhibited, along with other Luna novelties, at the NAMM Show this January. Tattoo is very much alike the Tattoo model introduced in the Oracle series. They have matching laser etched Polynesian tattoo motifs across the soundboard. The finish on this model is satin and there are no bindings or pickguards. The bridge has a belly shape, black string pins and white plastic saddle. This is a fully acoustic guitar, hence there are no pickups, mics or preamps built on. Only the wood and the strings propel the tone of this Safari. For easier portability, scale of this model is shortened and measures 22" from bridge to string nut. 22 inch scales are commonly known as 3/4 scales. The fingerboard on this model is equipped with a standard set of 20 frets with moon phase position inlays. 1-11/16" wide string nut and chrome plated hardware complete the specs for this little tattoo.

It has a nice sound and looks great for 3/4 guitar. Action is nice and low on mine. I just need to get use to the size.
