D-41 is one of the pricier and more luxurious dreadnoughts from the Standard series. The MSRP for this model is set at $5,299 and it puts D-41 in a league of it`s own. With the price tag that exceeds even the custom shop achievements of a vast majority of acoustic guitar brands, this model is still a standard series guitar for Martin and it ranks significantly below Custom Artist and similar series. It is made of finest solid woods available to standard series. Back and sides are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. White boltaron binding, tortoise pickguard and luxurious rosette are featured on top. Belly bridge and 20-fret fingerboard are made of ebony, while the low profile neck is made of hardwood. Tuners on this model are plated in gold.
