Grand J-35E is a model from the Standard series of the Martin Guitars catalog. It is one of few jumbo models in this series and it comes with a regular, full-sized jumbo body with non-cutaway construction. Body of this steel-stringer is made of standard set of tone woods, rosewood for the back and sides and spruce for the sound board. Both woods are solid and spruce is also used for the bracing under the sound board. There are no electronics installed on this jumbo, for Martin chose to go fully acoustic with this one. Bridge section features a belly-contoured bridge made of ebony. It is matched with a 20-fret fingerboard, also made of ebony. Hardwood neck is equipped with low profile contour and satin finish in the back.
