Standard Series Acoustic Guitars by Martin
Standard Series Acoustic Guitars by Martin
Orchestra models walk that fine line between the small guitars (such as parlor) and the big guns (such as dreadnought and jumbo), offering the best of both worlds (compact size and a big tone). C.F. Martin`s OM models also bring the brand`s hallmark tone, build quality, and styling. The new OM-42 (2018) is one of over 20 new, revamped Standard series models (dubbed Standard Reimagined). It costs $7,299.00 and is on the expensive side of the lineup. Main features include a non-cutaway OM body (solid East Indian rosewood back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, antique white binding, tortoise pickguard), genuine mahogany neck (modified low oval profile, 14th fret dovetail joint), 20-fret ebony fingerboard (25.4" scale, 1.75" bone nut, Snowflake inlays), ebony bridge, and open-gear tuners.
