120 series is the basic line of Michell Guitars` acoustic range. It is made up of four dreadnought models and two orchestra models. Among the dread quartet, DJ120 is the only short-scaled option, with a 21-1/4" scale. DJ120 is a fully acoustic guitar, coming in with a non-cutaway body (down-sized to match the shorter scale), 12th fret dovetail joint, stock hardware, and modern construction (scalloped X-bracing). The color palette is limited to Natural option (w/gloss finish, chrome tuners, double rosette). Core construction features include mahogany back & sides (laminated), solid spruce sound board (two-piece construction, ABS binding), mahogany neck (modern profile, solid construction), and 18-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Other notable features include a fixed rosewood bridge and die-cast tuning machines.
