Studio series is Norman`s most expensive and the most exclusive line. Out of four available series, Studio is the only one to offer models with solid backs and sides (others have only solid tops). ST40 Folk is one of six Studio series models which are currently available and is the only folk guitar among them. Main features of this compact-sized steel-stringer include a flat-top body (solid mahogany back & sides, solid cedar top), 14th fret dovetail neck joint, stock hardware, and traditional styling. Natural (w/semi-gloss finish, creme binding, chrome hardware) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid mahogany neck, 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (dot inlays, 24.84" scale, 16" radius), fixed rosewood bridge, and vintage-style tuning machines.
