S60 series is the top of three S range series (S20 and S40 are below it) and consists of four models, two dreadnoughts and two grand concerts. Both the dread and concert branches have one acoustic and one acoustic-electric model each. S66 is S60 series` acoustic-electric dreadnought model. It brings a single-cut body (Venetian cutaway, scalloped X-bracing), glued-in neck (14th fret dovetail joint), Fishman electronics, and recognizable Parkwood styling. The color palette is limited to glossy Natural finish (w/multi-layered binding, abalone rosette, abalone inlays). Main construction features include mahogany back & sides (solid back, laminated sides), solid spruce soundboard (two-piece construction), solid mahogany neck, and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Other notable features include Fishman Sonicore pickup/Sonitone preamp electronics unit, compensated rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
