Recording King is a brand with long and good tradition of making high quality acoustic guitars. Their models are predominantly vintage styled and come as fully acoustic. This is the case with RAJ-16, a model from the jubilee series. This one is a slope-shoulder dreadnought guitar with non-cutaway design and fully acoustic construction. Body of this model is made of mahogany and spruce. Mahogany is used for the back and side panels of the body, while the spruce is on the top. Top panel is bound in white and equipped with a single circle white rosette. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a rosewood bridge. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a standard C contour. 20-fret fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood.

I like this guitar and am an owner. Not sure why the building quality is rated at 2.5 stars. I think it is 4 to 4.5. It is not often (except with Recording King) that you get a bone nut and saddle, good sound and cosmetics at this price. I am very happy with this guitar.
