Within the Torch series, numbers 126 and 127 are designated to the opening models for both the dread and orchestra families of models. This time, 126 is assigned to RD-126 and this is the basic dreadnought of the Torch series. It comes with a non-cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panel is equipped with creme binding and tortoise shell pickguard. Vintage theme of this steel-stringed dread is completed with vintage rosette and chrome-plated set of Grover tuning machines on the headstock. Natural color scheme on RD-126 is finished in gloss. Bridge is made of ebony and it rocks a regular RK contour. One-piece mahogany neck is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. 20-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
