RK-M5 Recording King USA Series Resonator Banjo is an exclusive five-string model; currently the most expensive banjo in Recording King`s catalog (retail price is around $3,000). Only the solid tonewoods and the finest hardware available to Recording King were used for this majestic five-stringer. Main features include curly maple back & sides, 3-ply Recording King maple rim, 11" Remo Frosted head (High Crown), 24-hook brass notched tension hoop, dual 1930s style coordinator rods, and bell brass flathead tone ring. Honey Burst (w/nitrocellulose finish, nickel hardware, antique binding) is the only available color option. Other notable features include curly maple neck (2-way adjustable truss rod, dovetail joint), 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (1-3/16" bone nut, 27-3/8" scale, banjo frets), maple/ebony bridge, and planetary tuners.
