RK-OT25-BR Recording King Madison Open Back Banjo is one of five currently available banjo models Recording King offers through Madison series (series exclusive to the banjo range). It is an open-back five-stringer, made with 2-ply steam-bent rim made of maple, 24-bracket notched tension hoop (w/American threaded hooks & nuts), no tone ring, and Remo`s Fiberskyn head (High Crown). The scale length is 26-3/8" long, roughly half-way between the standard Madison (26-1/4") and Elite models (27-3/8"). Brown Satin (w/hand-rubbed finish, nickel/brass hardware, ivoroid binding) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a maple neck w/adjustable truss rod, 17-fret padauk fingerboard (dot inlays, banjo frets, 1-3/8" bone nut), maple/ebony bridge, and planetary tuners.
