RO-16 is an intermediate model from the Classic series. Recording King has two favorite body contours, and these are dreadnought and orchestra. RO-16 is an orchestra model, which comes completely acoustic and with non-cutaway body. Mahogany and spruce comprise the body with the arrangement being mahogany on the sides and in the back and spruce on the top as the sound board. Top panel is equipped with ivoroid binding and triple circle rosette. There is no pickguard on this gloss-finished guitar. Hardware installed on the headstock of the RO-16 is plated in chrome. Bridge is made of rosewood, which is the series standard and it comes with a saddle made of bone. Mahogany neck is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard sports 20 frets with dot inlays.
