RO-227 is an orchestra-shaped guitar made by Recording King. It is situated within the Torch series of high-end acoustic guitars. This one is fully acoustic, without the optional electronics, which is offered for some of the models from the RK catalog. Tone woods used for this orchestra are rosewood, spruce, mahogany and ebony. Rosewood is used only for the back and side panels of the body and it`s paired with spruce sound board to complete the body. white and abalone binding and elegant rosette decorate the glossy top. Mahogany is used for the V-contoured neck, which is made of a single piece of wood. Ebony comprises both of the remaining components, the bridge and the fingerboard. Bridge has a standard contour and bone saddle, while the fingerboard has 20 frets with 1.75" bone nut.
