Prewar Series Acoustic Guitars by Saga
BR-260 from the Prewar series is an attempt to recreate the time when the acoustics ruled supreme in the guitar world. This one is a serious attempt, as one might get fooled into thinking that he is actually playing the guitar from before the WWII. The only giveaway is too well preserved lacquer and decorations. This one comes with a dreadnought body made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top panel features ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette around the sound hole. Natural-colored body and neck are both finished in gloss. Ebony is used abundantly on Blueridge`s upscale models and this model features both the belly bridge and 20-fret fingerboard made of it. Neck is traditionally made of mahogany.
