BR-371 is the top model from the Parlor series made by Blueridge Guitars. Parlor is an old contour, dating back to 19th century, when it was the main option for the steel-stringed guitars. With the arrival of the 20th century, guitars went bigger, mostly thanks to Martin`s dreadnought and Gibson`s jumbo. Today, parlor is revered and respected, but still not as popular as the big ones. Blueridge, being the vintage-oriented brand sports an entire series of parlors in it`s catalog. This one is fully acoustic and it`s made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Bridge is made of ebony and it sports a standard pyramid shape. Fingerboard is also made of ebony and it`s installed on top of a one-piece mahogany neck.
