GS6 is one of the basic models of a highly acclaimed GS series in Taylor`s acoustic section of the catalog. It comes with a compulsory grand symphony body shape. This time, Taylor opted for a non-cutaway variant. This model is available in natural color with high gloss finish. Back and side panels are made of maple and the top is made of spruce. Top panel is bound in ivoroid binding and paired with a white single circle rosette. Pickguard is not featured on this model. Bridge section features a standard Taylor bridge made of ebony. There are no electronics installed on these models, as Taylor intends to keep this series fully acoustic. Neck is made of hard rock maple and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
