GS8 12 is a model from the GS series of acoustic guitars made by Taylor Guitars. This particular model is twelve-stringed variant of the series` top model, the GS8. These two share the specs lists, though GS8 12 comes with extra six strings, slightly wider bridge and neck. Body is still a non-cutaway grand symphony with natural color as it`s only option. High gloss lacquer finish is complemented with gold-plated Taylor tuners. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce top panel. In the bridge section Taylor opts for a standard installment of a belly shaped bridge made of ebony. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays, 15" radius and 1.75" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard.
