Voyage-Air is a brand of acoustic and electric guitars made for musicians on the move. Instead of shortening the scales, or shortening the bodies, Voyage-Air found the solution in folding necks. Necks on their guitars can be folded over the body and unfolded whenever needed. This system has been perfected over the years and now, issues with tuning stability and intonations have been solved. Transit series from Voyage-Air offers the most affordable Voyage-Air models and VAMD-02 opens it up with dreadnought body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. This body is paired with a foldable mahogany neck with 14th fret dovetail joint. This neck is topped with a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Scale of this model measures regular 24-3/4".
