HG12S is the only grand auditorium model in Heritage 10 series` lineup. The remainder of the roster is made up of four dreadnoughts and two folk style guitars. All seven models come in with price tags hovering around the $300 mark.
HG12S is a fully acoustic steel-stringer; it offers a non-cutaway GA body, 25-5/16" scale, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, chrome hardware, and classic Heritage looks. Natural Mahogany is the only available color option (white binding, tortoise pickguard, Heritage rosette, bound neck). Main construction features include laminated mahogany back & sides, solid mahogany top, mahogany neck, and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1-11/16" NuBone string nut, dot inlays, white binding).
Other major features include the vintage-styled cathedral bracing (made of spruce), rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
