TCMA43SWK is one of three fully acoustic mandolin models Washburn introduced for 2018. It rocks the simple A-style body, 14th fret neck joint, vintage styling, and fully acoustic construction (no electronics). Along with several other models, it belongs to the Timeless Collection, a line of acoustic instruments built from reclaimed European Fir wood (wood more than 140 years old, reclaimed from old UK bars, houses, farms, bridges). The color palette has only one option - sunburst (w/gloss/satin finish, creme binding, gold-plated hardware). Main features include solid maple back/sides, Timeless Solid Fir soundboard (creme binding, black-bound "f" holes), maple neck (14th fret dovetail joint, smooth finish), 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.18" nut, 13.8" scale, dot inlays, creme binding), rosewood bridge w/trapezoid tailpiece, and die-cast tuners.
