Boulder Creek is a relatively small and pretty young brand. They`re settled in Gilroy, California ever since the brand`s inception. What sets them apart from the rest of the guitar world is their revolutionary system of acoustic guitar construction. Standard bracing patterns and central sound holes are the thing of the past for Boulder Creek. Their sound boards feature special aluminum bracing rods, instead of the wooden bracing and the sound holes are moved from the center. Also, sound holes are carved onto the side of the body, facing the player. ECL-4 is a classical guitar with a rosewood/cedar body, classical rosewood bridge with piezo pickup, offset sound holes, AB4-T preamp system mounted onto the side, gold-plated hardware and a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard.
