Luthier Series Classical & Nylon Guitars by Cordoba
Cordoba`s Luthier series is dedicated to the production of the upscale nylon-stringers and is aimed at serious players who know what they`re looking for. For 2014, this series is being updated with a pair of Crossover models and C-10 Crossover is one of them. The word crossover means that these models are infused with some of the features and appointments characteristic of steel-string acoustic. These include narrower string nuts, radiused fingerboards and more. C-10 Crossover comes with a standard classical body made of Indian rosewood back and sides and spruce sound board. All panels of the body are made of solid wood, which is a standard Luthier series feature. Top is bound in Indian rosewood and is fit with a classical rosette. On the top, there is a rosewood bridge with bone saddle. Just like it`s sibling C-9 Crossover model, C-10 Crossover has no pickups or preamps installed on, or within it`s body. Neck is made of mahogany and is fit with a standard classical contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s an ebony fingerboard with 19 frets (standard count for a classical guitar), 1-7/8" wide bone nut and side dot inlays.
