Guilele is a very interesting concept, one of Cordoba`s most popular. The basic idea is the fusion of classical guitar and uke. The way it turned out in Cordoba`s kitchen, guilele has uke`s short scale and minute body, with classical guitar`s six nylon strings, 12th fret neck joint, and classical tuners. Guilele CE is one of several available guilele variants and a Protege series model. Main features include a single-cut body (mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top, fan bracing), Cordoba electronics (pickup + 2-band EQ), and stock hardware. Natural (w/satin finish, chrome hardware, white plastic parts) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a mahogany neck (12th fret joint), rosewood fingerboard (17 frets, 17" scale, 1.75" nut), fixed rosewood bridge, and classical tuners.
