Flamenca Blanca is one of several Handcraft Flamenco models made by Jose Ramirez. It was developed by late Jose Ramirez and his student and younger brother, Manuel. Back in the day it was a breakthrough flamenco guitar, though it is now one of the standard models of the Ramirez catalog. Flamenca Blanca starts off with a non-cutaway body, made of solid cypress (back, sides) and red cedar top (German spruce is available as alternative). Standard decorations include back and top binding and classical rosette. The neck is made of cedar and it`s attached at the 12th fret to the body. Fingerboard on its top is made of ebony, it has 19 frets, bone nut and flamenco frets. Other major features include a rosewood bridge and high precision tuning machines.
