Model C638 is a standard Jose Ramirez Tradicional guitar, but with a shorter scale. Instead of the 25-3/5" regular scale, C638 features 25-1/10" scale. 638 stands for millimeters (638, which translates into 25-1/10"). Other than that, it is a standard Tradicional guitar. Model C638 starts off with a flat-top body, made of Madagascar rosewood (back & sides) and red cedar (top). The top can also be made of German spruce, though there are no alternative materials for back and sides. The neck is made of cedar and it features the nicely rounded classical profile. Fingerboard on its top is made of ebony and it features 19 classical frets, bone nut and flat radius. Other major features include a rosewood bridge and high precision classical tuners.
