Rondo R53S belongs to the Rondo series of nylon-stringed classical guitars made by Bulgarian Kremona Guitars. This is one of the very few manufacturers from eastern Europe to gain international recognition for their work. Their guitar catalog consists of Artist, Performer and Basic series. Basic series is further divided into three segments, of which Rondo is the most populous and interesting one. Even though all of the models have the same materials and construction, they all come with different scale lengths. Scales range from the 17-3/10" for Rondo R44S to full-length 25-3/5" for Rondo R65S. Rondo R53S has one of the shorter scales, measuring only 22". Walnut back and sides are paired with spruce top. Neck is made of mahogany and bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood.
