Sofia S48C is among the smallest models in the current lineup of the Sofia series, which is made by Kremona. The main trait of the Sofia series is the fact that across eleven models, Kremona introduces eleven different scale lengths, a feature never seen before. However, on the other side, this series suffers from the lack of diversity, for all models come with the same exact list of materials and tone woods arrangement. S48C is equipped with a 18-9/10" long scale and it`s only longer than the scale on S44C. Body of this model is made of standard sapele back and side panels with cedar sound board on the top. Bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood, while the neck is made of mahogany. Hardware is plated in chrome.
