Sofia SC belongs to the Artist series of nylon-stringed classical and flamenco guitars. It is a high quality model with solid-wood construction. Also, construction-wise, this model features fully acoustic body without a cutaway. Body is made of sapele and cedar. Sapele, as a tone wood acts similar to mahogany and on this model it`s paired with cedar sound board. This type of body gives rich and strong tone with powerful projection. Top panel is decorated with lack binding around the edges and classical rosette around the sound hole. This body is matched with a mahogany-made neck. Neck is attached with a standard 12th fret dovetail joint and it features standard contour in the back. IT`s topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Bridge is also made of rosewood.
