Motif is a small-bodied nylon stringer made by Canadian brand named La Patrie. This little manufacturer is Godin`s subsidiary brand, focused on the nylon-stringed guitars. Both acoustic and acoustic-electric models are available. Motif opens up the catalog and it offers a non-cutaway body made of rosewood back and sides with cedar sound board on top. Cedar is the most popular top option for the nylon-stringed guitars and for this model La Patrie decided not to experiment. Despite it`s small body, this model features 25-1/2" scale. On one end, there`s a rosewood-made bridge with classical shape and TUSQ nut, while on the other side, there is a rosewood fingerboard with 18 frets, flat radius and 2" TUSQ nut. Neck is made of mahogany.
