4000 Electric Bass Guitars by Rickenbacker
Rickenbacker is one of the pioneering brands in the field of electric guitars, as the first one, the "Frying Pan" was released under Rickenbacker banner. Also, the early pickups were developed by Rick. From 1930s to 1960s, Rickenbacker was one of the most advanced and most progressive brands out there and this is the most fertile period in their history. In 1961, the cult 4001 Bass was released as a deluxe four-stringer. It was Rickenbacker`s answer to the growing electric bass market. 4003 is the successor of the cult 4001 model and it comes with a solid, double-cut body with classic Rickenbacker styling. It is made of maple wings and the maple neck. Flat-top four-stringer is equipped with two pickups, a humbucker in the bridge and minibucker in the neck. Maple neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
