As of mid-2017, BC Rich catalog features only one solid-bodied bass model - Mk3B Bass. It is based on the iconic Mockingbird design and infused with some of the typical Mk3 appointments such as elegant tops, BC Rich hardware & electronics, as well as bolt-on construction. Mk3B Bass is available in two options - Quilt Maple (natural w/quilt maple top) and Quilt Sapele (natural w/quilt sapele top). Both are finished in gloss and have black hardware. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body back, quilt top (two-piece construction, beveled edges), maple neck (four-bolt joint, fast contour, satin finish), and rosewood fingerboard (24 jumbo frets, diamond inlays, 1.69" nut, 34" scale). Main hardware & electronics options include a top-load hardtail bridge, die-cast tuners, and split BC Rich single-coil pickups.
