GT is a line of solid and double-cut electric basses made by Conklin. It is one of three series of electric basses and is the only one with three models, for Club and Tour have four models each. GT line is opened by the GT-4 Fretless model, a modern looking four-stringer with progressive design and solid construction. Body of this upscale four-stringer is solid, double-cut and made of ash and is paired with a wenge/purple heart neck through a classic bolt-on joint. Lower cutaway runs very deep and enables easy access to the upper regions of the fingerboard. Pair of active humbucking pickups with a simple controls lineup is installed on the top of the body. Wenge/purple heart neck has a narrow and slim contour in the back.
