Cort`s Action series features solid-bodied electric basses. Models of this series compete in the lower portions of the market and bring quality, reliability and more than decent tone. All of them are based on the classic Fender concepts - Jazz and Precision. The series was heavily updated for 2016.
Action PJ is one of the 2016 models. It is, judging by its looks and a modest specs list, a beginner Action series model. It has a solid, flat-top poplar body (available in three open pore finishes), bolt-on maple neck and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top of the neck. Offset dot inlays mark the frets. Passive J pickup in the bridge position, also passive P pickup in the middle, bass knob, treble knob and two volume knobs comprise the electronics. Hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
