The GB series is there for contemporary players who have a taste for vintage-looking and vintage-feeling basses. Classic J and P design styles dominate the roster, claiming almost all of the models. Cort`s prepared only one GB model for 2018 - GB54P. The new four-stringer rocks the offset body, 34" scale, stock electronics, as well as the stock hardware. The color palette is limited to 2-Tone Burst and Seafoam Pearl Green (both options come with gloss finish, chrome hardware, white pickguard, and unpainted headstock). Main construction features include a solid, flat alder body (no binding, no arched top), maple neck (the series` standard profile, contoured bolt-on neck joint), 20-fret fingerboard made of jatoba (dot inlays, vintage nut width), top-load four-saddled bridge, VTB-P pickup in middle position, and die-cast tuners.
